Date of creation : 1977 Type : Rural Council Chef lieu : Contact : Tél : E-mail : History : Ako council was created by Presidential decree No 77/203 of 29th June 1977, and amended by Presidential degree No.86/1434 of 3rd December 1986. After its creation the Council remained dormant and non – functional until 1987. Until 1997, Ako Council was under Nkambe council. Following a presidential decree it became an independent Council area like Ndu, Nwa, Misaje and Nkambe central Council that make up the total Council in Donga Mantung Division.
